Description The Vice President, Major Accounts is a strategic role for Qualys' global sales organization. The VP is responsible for providing leadership to the global team, the new business sales process and outcomes. Actively grow a healthy pipeline and drive opportunities to closure through deal origination, sales negotiations, and building partnership with subject matter experts and client engagement team member. Additionally, this leader will be also accountable for recruiting, hiring and day to day management of Major Account Managers in the United States as well as customer /partner relationships. The Vice President must be able to articulate the company's vision, technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Must be able to identify all technical and business issues within assigned region to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process Responsibilities Provide product and technical support for assigned Key and Major accounts Help and guide a high performing team to acquire, lead, and develop major accounts within assigned region Recruitment, Management and Hiring of Major Account Managers Identify and develop potential business opportunities Convey customer requirements to Product Management, Marketing and Engineering teams Generating Major Enterprise Accounts business opportunities and managing the sales process through to closure of the sale. Achievement of agreed quarterly sales goals. Generate a sales pipeline, qualifying opportunities, and accurately forecast pipeline Drive major account systems, processes and methods to increase net retention. Required Skills Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with strong knowledge in leading key and major accounts Proven ability to sell solutions to Major Enterprise customers. A proven track record of quota achievement and demonstrated career stability Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with strong knowledge in security, systems and /or compliance space:
Vulnerability Management, Policy Compliance , Intrusion Detection Systems IDS, Intrusion Prevention Systems IPS, Network Scanners, PCI, Policy Compliance and Audit Tools, other enterprise security solutions Knowledge in variety of Federal Regulatory Compliance issues a plus:
ISO 27001, HIPAA, GLBA, Sarbanes Oxley SOX, etc Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in response to emails, RFPs and when submitting reports Must be comfortable interacting at all levels within customer organizations, i.e., from C-level to front-line technical staff Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Account Management, Sales EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
