Senior Manager, Client Programs: Investment Solutions

Multi-asset class products and expertise play a critical role in our Investment Solutions strategy and our mission to deliver investment insights to our clients. The Senior Manager, Client Programs will have primary responsibility for the development and management of innovative multi-asset class (MAC) bespoke portfolios for the institutional marketplace. This role will emphasize market and industry analyses, product design, servicing and packaging, marketing strategy and business planning. The solutions emphasize scalable, cost-efficient fulfillment vehicles such as our innovative FlexShares? ETFs and other efficiently priced vehicles. The role will report to the Director of Investment Solutions for Northern Trust Asset Management (NTAM).
Key Responsibilities:
1.Develops and supports multi-asset class solutions aligned with the overall organizational vision and identified strategic priorities.
Researches, analyzes and develops MAC portfolios to meet the needs of clients and capture market demand for NTAM Investment Solutions
Enables and cultivates a robust pipeline of prospects to enhance revenue/asset growth
Develops, recommends, and directs the execution of solutions designed to achieve the objectives and goals of institutional clients across business segments
Manages the development and implementation of product training and all content required to support distribution of solutions, e.g., FAQs, RFP responses, etc.
Produces detailed product and competitive analysis
Builds scalability into new or existing processes to accommodate asset and account growth to meet established financial goals; identifies revenue opportunities
2.Functions as a key liaison between stakeholders, outside consultants or vendors, and clients to ensure that all product delivery and implementation needs are addressed.
Stays abreast of current and pending laws and regulations, and rules governing the industry
Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive business experience, industry knowledge, contacts and broad functional expertise
Provides leadership and guidance to partners, fostering an environment that encourages participation, teamwork and collaboration
Provides input and support to the budget management process
Provides regular analysis and reporting to management and key business leaders
Bachelor's degree; CFA preferred
At least 10-15 years of work experience in the investment management industry, with direct oversight of product management, marketing and investment functions
Exceptional organizational skills and the demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound business judgment
Strong, demonstrated skills in oral and written communications; including experience in effectively communicating with international employees, colleagues, clients, and executives
Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills exemplified by the ability to forge strong relationships with other senior partners
Client-centric focus and problem-solving mindset
Self-starter and team-oriented, with a proven ability to manage projects across cross-functional teams under demanding deadlines
Results-oriented with attention to detail; strong analytical skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
